          Down, down

              Left, right
Left, right

           Here?
              There?

Re-arranging my smaller worlds into place,

                                                              they turn to glass.

Early morning light shines through,
                             showing

                                                      Whispers of their distinct, opaque past.

They are neither right, nor left,
                 Down nor up.
    Not here, not there.

What's left,

                                      is a simple beauty like our everyday dawn.
